Job summary

PSEG Long Island is seeking a data and financial analysis professional to enhance and create budgets, reports, and dashboards for Revenue Operations. You will partner with IT and management to deliver timely, accurate data that supports regulatory compliance and strategic decisions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Access/Excel/Tableau/SAP, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment in New York.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Social Science, or related discipline.
• 5 years of analysis experience; 9 years can substitute for a degree.
• Proficiency in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tableau and SAP.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and safe driving history.
• Teamwork, initiative, and compliance with 10 CFR 810.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, including variance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Create, maintain, and enhance databases, spreadsheets, reports, and data reconciliation processes.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, analysis, and reporting.
• Analyze business and financial performance, identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Lead problem-solving and process improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and meet business needs.
• Track vendor contracts, invoices, and project expenditures; support special projects.
