Job summary

ING Bank in New York seeks a Senior Credit Restructuring Officer capable of developing recovery strategies for classified loans and representing the institution in negotiations with borrowers and other lender classes. The role requires proven negotiating skills and independence in day-to-day operations, interfacing with regulators and auditors who review loan loss provisioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate credit, restructuring or distressed credit experience.
• Proven ability to develop, negotiate and execute restructuring and recovery strategies.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, restructuring and recovery analysis across industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and resolution of complex stressed, distressed and non-performing credits.
• Develop and execute restructuring and recovery strategies across consensual and non-consensual situations.
• Lead negotiations with borrowers, sponsors, lenders and other creditors groups.
• Prepare and present restructuring strategies and approvals to senior management and credit committees.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders for approvals and implementation.
