Job summary

IDB Bank in New York is seeking a Credit Risk Governance and Reporting Officer to strengthen our governance framework and oversee credit risk policies and procedures. You will work with risk, finance and operations partners to ensure robust governance and regulatory readiness.

The role requires extensive experience in credit risk, strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional governance deliverables in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years direct credit risk experience at a financial institution
• Developing and overseeing credit risk policies and procedures
• Set standards for portfolio management reporting and control best practices
• End-to-end credit lifecycle management and governance requirements
• Experience with Commercial banking and Commercial Real Estate credits
• Strong writing and presentation skills to articulate requirements to senior stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or quantitative field
• Liaison with other bank functions to complete deliverables as needed
• Knowledge of contemporary credit risk models and portfolio management approaches
