Job summary

ING Americas is seeking a Director, Credit Risk Review in New York to lead challenging assessments of credit risk across lines of defense. You will collaborate with the CRR Head to implement strategic visions, refine policies, and guide reviewers in evaluating portfolios and actuating timely risk ratings.

The role requires 12+ years in wholesale credit risk with a strong track record of rigorous challenge and collaboration. A hybrid model applies, with NYC Midtown presence three days a week.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 12+ years in wholesale credit risk management.
• Extensive experience with U.S. regulatory risk ratings.
• Effective communication to diverse stakeholders.
• Energy & power sector and related product types experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CRR HoD to evolve strategic vision and policies.
• Promote collaboration and high performance within CRR.
• Provide credible challenge to practices and decisions.
• Develop credit risk opinions challenging status quo.
• Lead risk assessments and continuous monitoring of portfolios.
