The role involves preparing detailed credit write-ups and presenting recommendations to senior management. The position emphasizes financial statement analysis, collaboration with operations and legal teams, and ongoing training for credit staff.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Business or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Eight years of related experience with a comparable financial institution with prior single signature approval authority.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-depth credit analysis and financial evaluation of new business transactions within designated single signature authority.
• Prepares detailed credit write-ups of credit transactions and makes recommendations to Senior Management for approvals beyond single signature authority.
• Experience in underwriting healthcare, IT, or franchise lending is a plus; communicates financial data to risk teams.
• Reviews financial statements and uses data to risk-rate transactions within authority or presents recommendations to approving authority.
• Collaborates with Operations/Legal to ensure documents reflect approved commitments.
• Supports the application workflow on demand.
