Job summary

Atrium is partnering with a growing manufacturing client headquartered in Alpharetta, GA to hire a Senior Cost Accounting Manager. This role reports to the Global Director of Inventory Accounting and supports SOX compliance, SAP S/4Hana initiatives, and manufacturing cost control.

You will lead a small team, collaborate with plants, corporate accounting and FP&A, and travel to plants as needed. Relocation assistance is available for out-of-state candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Some experience managing people.
• Experience automating and building processes and workflows in a SOX environment.
• Experience with a large multi-billion-dollar company.
• SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle SOX compliance around cost accounting for the legacy brand.
• Assist in the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana related to inventory and cost accounting.
• Have a deep understanding of cost accounting related to manufacturing.
• Manage a small team with monthly deliverables.
• Coordinate with Operational Finance.
• Communicate effectively between the plants, corporate accounting, and FP&A.
