Job summary

Atrium is partnered with a large manufacturing company to fill a Senior Cost Accounting Manager role. You will oversee inventory valuation, standard costing, manufacturing variances, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities include leading cost and inventory accounting across manufacturing operations, month-end close, reconciliations, BOM maintenance, and updating standard costs. You will coach a team of cost accountants and drive ERP improvements and automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
CPA or CMA preferred.
Experience in cost and/or inventory accounting with people management experience.
Experience in SAP S4 Hana.

Responsibilities

Lead cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation activities across manufacturing operations.
Oversee month-end close, inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, BOM maintenance, standard cost updates, and related reporting.
Establish consistent cost accounting processes, controls, policies, and best practices across multiple locations.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cost Accountants.
Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
