Qualifications

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience, plus 1–2 year post-secondary certification/diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and databases.
  • Ability to identify, investigate and analyze problems, root causes and risks, and apply knowledge to develop solutions.
  • Experience in program/service coordination, including development and implementation of program/service plans, budgets, and evaluation activities.
  • Experience in managing client relationships by understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ability to provide guidance to program staff and volunteers, ensuring they are trained and supported.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate friendly calls and wellness calls to participants 18 and older across Saskatchewan.
  • Oversee workforce planning, volunteer resource processes and training for 140–180 volunteers in a virtual call center setting.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases; ensure information is organized and up to date.
  • Develop and maintain resources, tools and documentation for the Friendly Calls Program (FCP).
  • Engage in community outreach to promote FCP services and initiatives.
  • Strengthen collaboration through communication and relationship-building with community networks.
  • Provide ongoing development opportunities for volunteers to enhance capacity for calls and referrals during sensitive situations.
  • Create team and individual work plans and shift schedules to ensure regular, efficient calls.
