Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year post-secondary diploma in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of job-related work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising employees.
• Minimum 2 years working in front line customer service; experience in a high-volume call center is an asset.
• Strong coaching skills.
• Experience facilitating meetings and collaborating with external stakeholders, preferably within health care.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
• Valid BC Driver`s license required.
• Experience working with customized databases.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, support and coach staff and volunteers.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of HELP, Partner Services, including medical equipment provision and record maintenance.
• Monitor program delivery to meet performance standards and quality control.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Interior Health and communicate between HELP and Interior Health representatives.
• Represent the Red Cross HELP Program at regional governance meetings with Interior Health representatives.
• Participate in development and implementation of procedures related to contracts and services.
• Monitor service delivery and analyze performance, recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with Medical Equipment Distribution Supervisor to allocate resources.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with support staff to resolve building maintenance and IT issues.
