Job summary

The role demands 5–7 years of cloud architecture experience, a CS degree (or equivalent), and hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tooling such as Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of technical engineering experience with a strong focus on cloud architecture and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or 5+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Drive the engineering of highly available multi-cloud architectures, focusing on complex hybrid and multi-cloud solutions bridging on-premises KVM stacks with public cloud providers.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks to enhance product build-outs and engineering velocity.
• Act as the ultimate technical authority for critical issues involving Morpheus/VME and the HVM (Ubuntu 24.04 KVM) hypervisor stack.
• Lead the development of reusable automation assets using Ansible and Terraform to manage infrastructure across diverse cloud environments.
• Assist in the maintenance of internal build and QA environments as needed, ensuring stability for the development team.
• Author and maintain architectural documentation, playbooks, and technical standards to ensure alignment with cloud-native best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers in DevOps methodologies and represent the engineering team in high-level technical forums.
