Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, design, and testing for the CAI modernization project.

You will work with business SMEs and the delivery team to map requirements to user stories and acceptance criteria, while ensuring security, accessibility, and compliance. The role requires strong testing background, UAT coordination, and the ability to communicate with product managers, data modelers, developers, and product owners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst, including Sr. Analyst
• Experience analyzing legacy applications or leading digital transformation requirement gathering
• Strong ability to translate requirements into clearly understood user stories
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
• Experience with testing of large projects and coordinating UAT
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Experience with enterprise application modernization and process improvement
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and public-sector compliance

Responsibilities

• Document existing requirements of the CAI application and verify all key functionality
• Prioritize requirements and link to legislative/policy requirements where applicable
• Work with various business units to recommend system improvements
• Propose new features delivering business value
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories and define acceptance criteria
• Assist in analyzing technical approaches and integration decisions
• Support change management, user adoption, and training for the modernized solution
• Ensure alignment with security, accessibility, data privacy, and compliance
• Identify risks, dependencies, and impediments; provide status updates to IT leadership and sponsors
