Job summary

GFT in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Project Bridge Engineer to lead the design of bridge projects and coordinate with disciplines across the roadway program. You will meet clients, provide day-to-day leadership, and ensure technical excellence on design, rehabilitation, load ratings and construction documents.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in bridge design and construction, an ABET-accredited Civil/Structural degree, MA PE licensure, and hands-on experience with major software tools.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil/Structural degree required.
• MA PE licensure required.
• 10+ years in bridge design and construction.
• Experience with design-build and load ratings.
• Proficient in major structural software.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge project design and analysis, coordinate disciplines.
• Develop construction documents, estimates and shop drawings.
• Perform load ratings, inspections and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and project leadership.
• Interface with clients, schedule and budgets.
