EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants in the United States is seeking a Senior Consultant who will lead client satisfaction, strategy development for health and welfare programs, and vendor management across large self-funded accounts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in insurance/employee benefits, strong analytics, and excellent communication, with travel and flexibility for after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational training
• 10+ years of experience in insurance/employee benefits/HR
• Experience managing large self-funded group Health & Welfare clients
• Experience with full-cycle Request for Proposal process
• Experience with implementing Health and Welfare benefit plans
• Insurance licensing or ability to obtain licensing after employment
• Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of underwriting and self-funded plan financials
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple client projects under aggressive timeframes
• Detail-oriented and self-directed worker

Responsibilities

• Lead client satisfaction, service delivery and relationship management
• Develop and present innovative and customized strategy solutions for complex client benefit programs
• Support business development opportunities
• Mentor Consultants and Associate Consultants
• Vendor management for Health & Welfare vendors and data-analytics driven strategies
• Develop and execute benefit program strategic initiatives for large clients
• Evaluate services to optimize claim and utilization trends
• Manage the annual calendar of milestones and compliance deadlines
• Lead relationship management and project management for clients and vendors
• Prepare and present client reports and SBCs
• Communicate regulatory updates and ensure client compliance
• Oversee 5500 filings
• Present financial reports and analyses
