Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a seasoned Senior Analytics Developer to provide Epic reporting and analytics support to the Pharmacy organization. This role focuses on turning complex healthcare data into actionable insights to identify revenue opportunities, strengthen finances, and inform strategic decisions.

Hybrid work is available but on-campus presence is required. Responsibilities include designing and supporting enterprise reporting in an Epic EHR environment, collaborating with leaders

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience with data management, data interpretation, and analysis to include writing reports or queries using Crystal Reports, Tableau, SQL and/or similar reporting tools, with two years in relational databases using SQL.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Knowledge of health care operations and Access is required.
• Knowledge of data warehouse architecture is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Proficient knowledge and application of SAP Business Objects Suite tools is required.
• Knowledge of testing techniques and execution of test cases is required.
• Ability to produce succinct and meaningful documentation is required.
• Strong interpersonal relations and technical competence are required.
• Ability to assist in the implementation of system enhancements is required.
• Ability to support ongoing systems and maintain vendor relationships is required.
• Epic Clarity Data Model Certification within 60 days of training; Epic Caboodle certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise reporting and analytics solutions in an Epic EHR environment.
• Develop and support operational, analytical, and strategic reporting for information consumers.
• Work independently with requesters to scope data needs and develop meaningful solutions.
• Coordinate with clinical/operational leaders, Epic reporting leads, data architects, and Cogito Project Manager to ensure complete analytics products.
