Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Senior Analytical Reporting Analyst for ALM & Investment Risk in a hybrid role based in Baltimore. The role focuses on ALM operations, investment risk reporting, and analysis within a controls framework.

You will produce model inputs, support sensitivities and stress testing, and collaborate across Life, Health, Annuity, and Risk teams to update assumptions and models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science, statistics, finance, or related field.
• Three years of related experience (or one year with Master’s).
• Expert level knowledge in two or more areas: insurance liability, asset valuation, derivatives modeling, liquidity management, machine learning, AI.
• Experience with asset liability management and/or investment portfolio processes preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; data handling at scale.

Responsibilities

• Run ALM and investment risk reporting processes in a controlled environment.
• Support market risk sensitivities calculations and QoQ attribution; perform stress scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams; assist in updating asset-related models in MoSes and MG_ALFA.
• Provide model result explanations and reconciliation to stakeholders.
• Prepare change management documentation for quarterly updates.
