Job summary

Kargo is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to act as the technical authority for bringing new advertising surfaces live on the Kargo platform, from first partner talks to scalable, revenue-generating integrations.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence 4 days a week and involves owning custom code, SDK work, troubleshooting, and API specifications across web, mobile, and emerging surfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical ad tech role with hands-on implementation experience.
• Deep fluency in programmatic ecosystem components (SSPs, DSPs, ad servers, VAST/VPAID, header bidding/Prebid).
• Advanced JavaScript for custom integration logic and DOM manipulation, plus HTML/CSS for ad rendering.
• REST API design, debugging, and integration experience.
• Proven partner-facing communication skills translating technical concepts.
• Experience with non-traditional ad surfaces and IAB/privacy standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take partners from technical kickoff to live integration on time and with quality.
• Build scalable integration solutions with reusable code, SDKs, and integration patterns.
• Diagnose and resolve complex ad-serving issues across web, mobile, and emerging surfaces.
• Earn trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage requirements.
• Own end-to-end integrations from scoping to launch to post-live stability.
• Collaborate with product/BD/sales to surface blockers early and inform decisions.
• Write and maintain API specs and integration guides for reuse.
