Job summary

Samsonite is seeking a Sr. Accountant to support a multi-brand Wholesale/Direct to Consumer environment in a hybrid role (on-site four days, remote one day weekly) at the Mansfield, MA location.

You will handle monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions while supporting FP&A and SOX controls. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 2+ years of experience, and strong SAP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting/finance or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• ERP system experience, preferably SAP; SAP S/4HANA exposure is a plus
• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, including sorting, filtering, lookups, and basic data analysis

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Create and maintain purchase orders
• Provide support and analytics to FP&A and Management
• Prepare monthly/quarterly SOX controls
• Prepare Cost Center expense reporting for Management
• Partner with internal and external auditors
• Manage intercompany balances and transactions
• Maintain various accounting schedules
• Conduct financial analysis as needed
• Prepare Purchase Orders load in SAP
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures/processes for the current tasks performed
