Job summary

Samsonite International S.A. is seeking a Senior Accountant in Mansfield, MA for a hybrid role with four days on-site and one day remote per week. You will perform monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support FP&A and management with analytics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Create and maintain purchase orders
• Provide support and analytics to FP&A and Management
• Prepare monthly/quarterly SOX controls
• Prepare Cost Center expense reporting for Management
• Partner with internal and external auditors
• Manage intercompany balances and transactions
• Maintain various accounting schedules
• Conduct financial analysis as needed
• Prepare Purchase Orders load in SAP
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures/processes for the current tasks performed

Job description

The Sr. Accountant will provide timely and accurate accounting and analysis to support a multi-brand Wholesale/Direct to Consumer environment. This is a hybrid position; we work on site 4 days and remotely 1 day weekly.
