Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger integrity, and revenue recognition for a growing services organization. You will play a key role in process improvements and scalable financial systems.

The role reports to the Controller and requires 4+ years of accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and hands-on ledger management. The position is onsite 4 days a week with one remote, offering a competitive salary and bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on general ledger and month-end close.
• Strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations and reconciling items.
• Experience with revenue accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, and schedules.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently within a finance team.
• Strong communication skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Support audit requests with reconciliations and documentation.
• Assist with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and related schedules.
• Support accounts receivable, billing reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely reporting.
