Job summary

Benevis is hiring a Senior Accountant in Atlanta for a hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). You will manage multi-entity accounting, support close and reporting, and work with finance leadership to ensure GAAP compliance and high-quality financials.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a bachelor's in accounting or finance. PE-backed experience is a plus, with opportunities across healthcare-oriented finance teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with Xlookup, Pivot Tables, and nested formulas.
• Experience with data cubes or similar analytics tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Great Plains.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Produce monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Assist with acquisitions, intercompany transactions, and consolidations.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
