Job summary

Benevis Corporate Office is seeking a Senior Accountant in Atlanta with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote). You’ll manage multi-entity accounting, support GAAP reporting, and work with finance leadership and external auditors to ensure accurate close and robust financial statements.

The role requires 2–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a focus on accurate, timely reporting in a dynamic PE-backed setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA, MBA, or Master’s in Accounting is strongly preferred in PE environments.
• 2–5 years accounting experience is required; multi-entity or PE-backed experience preferred.
• Experience in DSO or healthcare accounting is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (Xlookup, Pivot Tables, nested formulas) are required.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Great Plains, etc.) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting processes across multiple entities in a private equity environment.
• Support timely close processes and high-quality financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations; maintain GL integrity.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and resolve variances.
• Assist with acquisition accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure GAAP compliance.
