Jewish Federation Bay Area is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee full-cycle accounts payable, vendor/grantee management, and balance sheet reconciliations. The role leads AP automation, streamlines workflows, and strengthens internal controls while integrating Ramp and ERP systems.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and proactive in building scalable accounting processes. The Senior Accountant reports to the Director of Strategic Finance in a hybrid role with three

Qualifications

• Experience managing the full AP cycle in a complex organization.
• Strong vendor management and reconciliations.
• Experience optimizing AP automation and ERP integrations (NetSuite & Ramp preferred).
• Strong GL, month-end close, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full AP cycle including invoices, approvals, and payments.
• Lead AP automation and improve workflows and integrations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support audits, internal controls, and compliance.
• Train stakeholders on processes and policies.
