Job summary

Vitality Living, a operator of senior living communities across the southern United States, seeks a Senior Accountant in Brentwood, TN. This flexible hybrid role offers 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, supporting an assigned group of communities with general ledger and financial reporting responsibilities.

You will prepare journal entries, balance sheets, P&L statements, A/R and A/P reports, and bank reconciliations, while analyzing variances and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-6 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a growth environment and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and progress-reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Create general ledger journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet, income statement, A/R and A/P reports, and bank reconciliations.
• Analyze large variations and report to management.
• Collaborate with payroll staff on payroll variance reports.
• Assist with community audits.
