Job summary

Murata Power Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proactive process improvement.

The position covers general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, fixed assets, cash forecasting, and coordination with internal/external audits. Hybrid work arrangement applies with four days in office and one remote day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting, audit, or financial analysis experience preferred.
• Big 4 public accounting experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Investigate discrepancies and root causes, document conclusions and corrective actions.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Analyze financial results and explain significant fluctuations and trends.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Prepare cash forecasts and monitor cash balances and funding needs.
• Collaborate with AP/AR and other departments to resolve issues.
