Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; 6+ years relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 8+ years relevant experience.
• CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience.
• Experience in project-based or complex accounting environments.
• Exposure to joint venture or shared-cost structures preferred.
• Experience supporting tax-related processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls (SOX preferred).
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience required.
• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve variances.
• Strong communication with non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and trends.
• Prepare schedules and analyses for reporting and audits.
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness.
• Support accounting for joint ownership and project-based structures.
• Assist tax-related financial preparation.
• Support audit requests.
• Analyze project/program financial results.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide financial insights.
• Partner cross-functionally across teams.
• Lead or support process improvement initiatives.
