Job summary

Jobot, a local/regional CPA firm in the Greater Tampa, FL area, is seeking a Client Accounting Advisory Senior in a hybrid role. You will manage client bookkeeping, payroll, and GAAP compliance, leveraging Sage and QuickBooks, with opportunities for professional growth.

The role emphasizes client interaction, accuracy, and collaboration with the finance team to deliver timely financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, client-facing preferred.
• Proficiency with Sage and QuickBooks; GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping duties including recording transactions, and managing A/P and A/R.
• Prepare payroll and handle sales tax returns.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
• Prepare client financial reports and provide insights.
• Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with clients on inquiries and financial issues.
• Collaborate with finance team on budget preparation and planning.
