Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and monitor security controls across on-premises, cloud, and endpoints. You will partner with IT, Infrastructure, Networking, and stakeholders to strengthen the organization’s security posture and ensure compliance with HITRUST and CIS Controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, systems engineering, network engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise security technologies and controls.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices, including CIS Controls and HITRUST.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security technologies and controls across on-premises, cloud, network, endpoint, and application environments.
• Evaluate and recommend security solutions to address evolving threats and business requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to integrate security requirements into technology initiatives and projects.
• Support secure system and application design reviews to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Assist with security audits, assessments, and compliance initiatives.
