Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, hybrid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Denton, MD. The role involves direct therapy, screenings, progress monitoring, and collaboration with an SLP supervisor and interdisciplinary teams to support K–12 students.

The position offers 80% onsite and 20% hybrid work with guaranteed hours and a supportive district collaboration.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution.
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant where required.
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA where required.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to students.
• Conduct screeners and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
• Plan and document therapy activities in collaboration with SLP supervisor.
