Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied in Denton, MD, is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based contract. The SLPA will work with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support academic and social development.

The role involves conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering direct therapy while collaborating with staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field required.
• State SLP License in State of Residence required.
• CCC from ASHA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement IEPs with goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
