Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a School Psychologist to provide school-based services for a local school district. The role blends virtual days with on-site support, offering a flexible hybrid schedule and compensation for direct and indirect time.

As a 1099 contractor, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, conduct evaluations, design interventions, monitor progress, and respond to crises while promoting safe, positive learning environments.

Qualifications

• DE State License in Psychology is required.
• Background checks including Child Abuse, State, and Federal clearances are required.
• Experience in school-based psychology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, instruction, and mentoring for students with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to evaluate eligibility for special education services.
• Assess barriers to learning and determine instructional strategies to meet individual needs.
• Design and implement interventions and student progress monitoring systems.
• Support effective individualized instruction and positive classroom environments.
• Collect and analyze data related to school improvement, student outcomes, and accountability requirements.
• Promote safety by reducing school violence, bullying, and harassment; maintain positive school climates.
• Respond to crises with leadership, direct services, and referrals to community support services.
