Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a School Psychologist to support a dynamic educational community near Keller, TX. This contract position runs through late May 2027, offering flexible scheduling, meaningful work, and a collaborative environment.

The role requires current LSSP or Associate School Psychologist licensure and strong assessment skills, with on-site work three days a week and up to two days remote. Onboarding includes standard background checks and credential verification.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or as an Associate School Psychologist
• School Psychology credential issued by your state's board of examiners of psychologists
• Strong understanding of best practices in educational and psychological assessment
• Excellent communication, consultation, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and crisis support to students
• Collaborate with staff and families to promote student success and positive learning environments
• Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and eligibility determinations
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and contribute to intervention plans
• Deliver counseling and mental health services for individuals and groups, ensuring student well-being
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Uphold ethical standards and stay current with best practices in school psychology
