Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for an onsite/remote hybrid role to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development. The contract runs through May 28, 2027, with options for full-time or part-time engagement.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, provide instructional consultation, and participate in RTI/MTSS efforts while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid LSSP or Associate School Psychologist license.
  • Educator credential as a School Psychologist issued by the board of examiners.
  • Demonstrate proven skills in assessment, intervention and consultation within an educational environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide consultation for instructional strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student achievement.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing support to students as needed.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical practices while supporting student progress.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the RTI/MTSS framework.
