Vitaver & Associates, Inc. is seeking a SAS Programmer for Public Health Data Integration in Austin, TX. This hybrid role involves 4 days remote with 1 day onsite, for an initial 12-month project.

The candidate will develop, test, and maintain data processing scripts and automate data integration across health systems. Required experience includes 8 years in SAS/Python/R scripting, system integration, dashboard development, and health data handling.

Qualifications

• 8 years' experience developing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting SAS, Python, R or similar scripts.
• 8 years' experience with system integration, dashboard creation and automation for interoperability workflows.
• 8 years' experience working with health/public health or complex administrative data and knowledge of databases and querying.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain automated scripts and applications using SAS, Python, R, or similar languages to support data processing and interoperability.
• Design and implement system integrations, automated ETL pipelines, and dashboards to streamline workflows and data access across health and admin systems.
• Analyze, manage, and query structured and semi-structured health and administrative data using advanced SQL and database techniques.
