Job summary

Lam Research in California is seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist to drive the modernization of order fulfillment and production planning processes within the Office of Digital Transformation. You will lead SAP-based solutions across ECC and S/4HANA, align with PLM/MES/QM, and guide a complex, cross-functional rollout in a high-growth semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience leading or supporting end-to-end SAP Order Execution, Production Planning & Production Control, PP/DS and manufacturing transformation processes in engineer-to-order and configure-to-order environments.
Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations, upgrades, or major deployment programs involving SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on the SAP Production Planning module.
Experience with SAP Material Requirements Planning, Production Versions, PP/DS, Order Routings, Production Order lifecycle, and related manufacturing master data.
Experience integrating SAP Production Planning with Manufacturing Execution Systems and Quality Management.

Responsibilities

Process Architecture: Identify process improvement opportunities across SAP PP/DS environments and integrated planning.
Solution Design: Lead design and implementation of complex Variant Configuration models, BOMs, routings, and production versions in SAP ecosystems.
System Transition: Support ECC environments and roadmap for transition to SAP S/4HANA, including cutover readiness.
Cross-Functional Integration: Integrate SAP Production Planning with PLM, MES, QM, and warehouse execution.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with global planning, operations, IT, and partners to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Testing and Deployment: Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and cutover activities.
Continuous Improvement: Drive post-go-live optimization and higher adoption and efficiency.
