Job summary

Sentinel Group is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to support, enhance, and extend our business applications focused on the Salesforce platform. You will design and develop scalable solutions, integrate systems, and contribute to reliable, secure software across teams.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects, follow CI/CD practices, and help drive upgrades and automation. This hybrid role offers in-person collaboration at our Wakefield office and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of software engineering experience with Salesforce technologies.
• Experience designing and building Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, data model, security, and integrations.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with JSON and XML data formats.
• Experience with source control and Gearset; familiarity with SQL/SOQL.
• Salesforce certifications are a plus.
• Salary range: $95,000-$105,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and API-based integrations.
• Proven success delivering high-quality software projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Ability to develop cloud-ready and containerized applications for internal and external platforms.
• Experience working across CRM, custom applications, databases, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, source control, testing, CI/CD, and application support.
