State of Arizona – AZDWR seeks a Salesforce Developer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications supporting agency operations. The role collaborates with Business Analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL, and Oracle solutions.

The work involves requirements gathering, development, and ongoing maintenance, with a hybrid local Phoenix schedule. Candidates should have strong Salesforce development skills, Public Sector experience, and API integrations

Qualifications

3+ years of Lead Developer experience on Salesforce implementations.
7+ years of developer experience or a BS in Computer Science.
3+ years of SQL experience.
Active Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
Strong Salesforce development, configuration, and administration.
Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
Experience assessing and refactoring existing systems.
Experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations.
Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases.
Experience with Agile methodologies and source control.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications across Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL, and Oracle platforms.
Analyze and reverse-engineer existing applications to identify improvements.
Refactor and redesign solutions for performance and maintainability.
Collaborate with Analysts, users, and stakeholders to develop technical solutions.
Participate in planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of new apps.
Develop and maintain Salesforce Public Sector Solutions applications and APIs.
Design and implement MuleSoft integrations.
Ensure interfaces comply with directives and agency requirements.
Create technical documentation and development standards.
Participate in Agile processes and maintain source control.
Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and production support.
Manage priorities and deliver within deadlines.
