Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Retail Sales and Service Technician to support customers in a hybrid role across stores. The position involves assessing customer needs, recommending products/services, and performing entry-level vehicle services to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role provides exposure to store operations and career growth opportunities, with a focus on learning all aspects of the business and flexing between front-end service and basic shop tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid automobile driver's license is required.
• Customer service mindset and a growth mindset for career progression.
• Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
• Ability to learn and operate store systems.
• 2 year degree or non-traditional education through training/certification (preferred).
• Previous consumer retail sales experience (preferred).
• Previous automotive experience and supervisory experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid role focusing on customer service, sales, and issue resolution (75%).
• Perform basic vehicle service tasks (oil, tires, fluids) (25%).
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing, inventory, and displays.
• Growth and career development; may assist or act as Manager-on-Duty in certain circumstances.
