Job summary

IMA Financial Group seeks a Sales Management Intern for Summer 2027 in New York City. You will support sales operations, prepare meeting materials, and assist with the Associate Producer program while learning from senior leaders in the insurance industry.

The role offers a hybrid schedule (four days in office, one day remote) and exposure to CRM data, reporting, and market research. Preference given to near-graduation students in business-related fields.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field.
• Interest in sales operations, business development, analytics, or the insurance industry.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Clear written and verbal communication and readiness to collaborate.
• Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint; data-driven storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Support sales reporting and analysis by organizing pipeline information and tracking producer activity.
• Help prepare sales meetings by developing agendas, updating presentations, and tracking follow-ups.
• Assist with the Associate Producer program, including tracking, coordination, and training initiatives.
• Conduct prospect, industry, and market research to support business development.
