Job summary

Gong is seeking a Commercial Account Executive in the CHI area to expand our commercial accounts and acquire new customers. You will own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, showcasing Gong's value and navigating multiple decision makers in fast-paced environments.

Hybrid work with 3 days in-office. The role requires SaaS/enterprise software experience, outbound prospecting, and a track record of meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year+ closing experience in Commercial sales.
• Based in the CHI metro area, commutable to the office.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office.
• Experience with SaaS and enterprise software.
• Outbound prospecting experience.
• Proven sales achievement (e.g., Presidents Club, Rep of the Year).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage prospects from lead to close.
• Clearly articulate and demonstrate Gong's value proposition to prospects.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with customers.
• Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve quarterly quota.
• Run and implement 7 to 10 day pilot program.
