Job summary

The State of Iowa’s Child Support Services is hiring a Case Manager to handle complex family support cases, coordinate with partner agencies, and ensure accurate order establishment and modification. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, with attention to confidentiality and compliance throughout the process.

Hybrid work option available after training; candidates must have a valid driver’s license and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or three years of equivalent experience in public contact work.
• Experience in complex case management and working with diverse partners.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and determine appropriate actions.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex case management for paternity, medical and support orders.
• Communicates with human service agencies, employers, clerks of court, and others to achieve program goals.
• Analyzes complex case situations to establish, maintain or modify support.
• Uses Microsoft Office programs and learns ICAR and other systems.
• Maintains confidentiality as required by law.
