Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred; knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles is required.
• 5-10+ years of paint and sealer automation experience.
• Experience in Site Management and Project Management is required.
• Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering and/or Robot programming background is preferred.
• Team building skills and ability to drive accountability and work across functions to complete projects as needed.
• Technical Software: Microsoft Project, SAP, and Excel proficiency is required.
• Willingness to travel 30% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Leads the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines and allocating tasks to accomplish milestones.
• Defines project plan documents including scope, financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
• Ensures project execution follows ABB policies and best practices, monitors progress, and manages resources and budget.
• Manages contracts, claims, procurement with Supply Chain, and coordinates with suppliers.
• Maintains relationships with stakeholders and serves as escalation point for project issues.
• Ensures compliance with HSE policies and company standards.
