Prequel Solutions is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to advance 3D LiDAR-based localization for indoor autonomous robots, focusing on algorithm development and sensor fusion.

You will deploy these techniques on production platforms and collaborate across SLAM and navigation teams, with a hybrid Pittsburgh-based or relocated work setup.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience, ROS/ROS2, and a strong track record delivering real-world localization systems.

Qualifications

• Robotics software engineering experience with autonomous mobile robots or comparable systems.
• Hands-on development of 3D LiDAR-based localization and SLAM.
• LiDAR/IMU sensor fusion and state estimation experience.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2.
• Deploying and troubleshooting algorithms on physical robots.
• Background with AMRs, warehouse robotics, or indoor mobile robotics preferred.
• Pittsburgh-based or willing to relocate for hybrid work.
