GFT is seeking a Roadway Lighting / Illumination Engineer to join our Building and Places Team. This role supports multiple offices (New York, Mechanicsburg, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and East Brunswick) in a hybrid work model.

You will develop roadway lighting designs, analyze lighting warrants, and coordinate with architects, civil, and transportation teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, a BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, and proficiency with VISUAL,

Qualificações

• 5+ years of roadway lighting design experience.
• BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• EIT or PE is a plus.
• Experience with highway lighting warrants, NEC/IBC.
• Familiarity with DOT design standards.

Responsabilidades

• Perform site surveys of existing conditions.
• Develop project specifications and cost estimates for construction.
• Coordinate work with architectural, civil, bridge, highway/roadway teams.
• Develop final record drawings at project completion.
• Provide support during construction activities as needed.
• Participate in meetings with clients, government agencies, utility companies and project teams.
