Job summary

Coal Country Community Health Center is seeking a full-time Prior Authorization Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team in a hybrid role spanning remote work within North Dakota and onsite at Beulah Clinic.

Responsibilities include coordinating insurance prior authorizations for services, medications, procedures, and referrals, while collaborating with providers and payers to minimize delays in treatment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN with current licensure.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Proficiency using EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others while meeting deadlines.
• Prior authorization experience preferred; Medicare/Medicaid/insurance experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and obtain insurance prior authorizations for medical services, medications, procedures, DME, and referrals.
• Collaborate with providers, staff, and payers to ensure timely access to care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with patients.
