Job summary

Pinnacle Group (Pinnacle Technical Resources) is seeking a Risk Analytics Consultant in Charlotte, NC to lead and contribute to risk analytics initiatives, data management, and regulatory reporting support.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, SQL, Python, and advanced Excel, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in a hybrid setup. This contract position offers engagement on Basel III related projects and data governance improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, data mapping, testing, or business analysis within Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Services.
• Experience supporting regulatory, risk, capital, or enterprise data initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics.
• Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models.
• Accountable for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance.
• Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals. Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff.
• Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies.
