Job summary

Osaic is seeking a Risk Analyst I to support build-out and execution of its risk management program. The analyst will complete projects under supervision, documenting key risks, controls and metrics, and deriving insights from data to inform leadership decisions.

The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts to map workflows and ensure regulatory alignment, delivering clear risk narratives and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; high school diploma or equivalent accepted with strong experience.
• Certifications in SQL, Power BI or analytics are preferred.
• Entry-level (0-1 year) experience acceptable for candidate with strong aptitude and drive.

Responsibilities

• Learn business processes of units under review and advise on identified risks and control design.
• Create process flow maps showing decision points, ownership, risks, and controls.
• Meet with business managers to gather insights and document processes accurately, identifying risks, data patterns, and gaps.
• Assess data to determine control effectiveness and flag trends or red flags.
• Prepare monthly risk program metrics and communicate stories to managers and senior leaders.
• Review regulatory guidance and ensure procedures address requirements.
