Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Risk Analyst to join a dynamic Risk Management team. The role supports program and project risk across major construction programs, including CSRA and Monte Carlo risk analysis.

The position offers a hybrid work model with two days in an assigned Jacobs office and opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve delivery and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience, strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• At least 2 years in risk management, or 7+ years in related industry experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience or understanding of Project Controls (estimate/cost and schedule).
• Excellent knowledge of risk methodology and tools; cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Support the goals and priorities of the Risk Management team.
• Manage program/project risk for specific clients including CSRA (Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis).
• Perform complex commercial and financial risk analysis/modelling to inform client decisions on major construction.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance delivery and efficiency.
• Lead and participate in risk reviews; apply Monte Carlo analysis to inform mitigation actions and costs.
• Manage risk assessment across multiple programs; monitor mitigation actions and budget impacts.
• Conduct risk assessment workshops with project teams to identify and mitigate risks.
• Define risk management framework, policy, strategy, and processes with leadership support.
• Review cost of mitigation actions and evaluate risks against contingency reserves.
