Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team in the United States on a hybrid schedule requiring two days in-office. You will perform complex risk analyses, including cost and schedule risk modelling for major construction programs, using advanced tools and Monte Carlo methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 2+ years in risk management, or 7+ years of related industry experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• Experience or understanding of Project Controls (estimate/cost and schedule).
• Excellent knowledge of risk methodology and tools; cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations and Procurement.
• Must be U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall goals and priorities of the Risk Management team.
• Manage program/project risk for specific clients including Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA).
• Perform complex commercial and financial risk analysis/modelling enabling clients to make informed decisions for major construction.
• Utilize advance AI tools to enhance delivery and increase efficiency.
• Lead and participate in regular risk reviews to identify, capture, and sanction risks with Monte Carlo analysis for mitigation and cost impacts.
• Manage assessment, evaluation, prioritization, and updates of risks for several Programs or Projects; monitor mitigation actions.
• Conduct risk assessment workshops and training with project teams to define risks and mitigation measures.
• Define risk management framework (policy, strategy, plan) and organize resources with leadership support.
• Direct and review cost of mitigation actions, budget and actuals; evaluate contingency reserves and cost controls.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual risk data reports and briefings for clients and management.
• Engage in QA/QC tasks for client deliverables and logs.
• Ensure cross-project alignment through effective team communication and meetings.
