Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our growing team. You’ll support risk management goals, analyze program and project risks, and use AI and Monte Carlo techniques to inform mitigation decisions. Hybrid work allows two days per week at a Jacobs office across the United States.

You will bring a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 7+ years of equivalent experience, with strong teamwork, communication, and commercial acumen to drive major construction risk analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• At least 2 years in risk management, or similar role, or 7+ years of related industry experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• Experience or understanding of Project Controls (estimate/cost and schedule).
• Excellent knowledge of risk methodology and tools; knowledge of Engineering, Operations and Procurement.
• Effective & persuasive in building a network of contacts with clients.
• U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall goals and priorities of the Risk Management team.
• Manage program/project risk for specific clients including Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA).
• Perform complex commercial and financial risk analysis/modelling enabling clients to make informed decisions for major construction.
• Utilize advance Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance delivery and increase efficiency.
• Lead and participate in regular risk reviews to identify, capture, and sanction risks, applying Monte Carlo analysis for mitigation actions and cost impacts.
• Manage risk assessments across multiple Programs or Projects and monitor mitigation actions.
