Southeastern Land Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Right-of-Way Agent to support land acquisition for utility and infrastructure projects in Hickory, North Carolina.

In this field-based role, you will work with property owners to secure easements, rights-of-way, and property acquisitions while coordinating with project teams and maintaining accurate records. You’ll negotiate with landowners, research ownership, present offers, and collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project

Qualifications

• Active real estate license in North Carolina or South Carolina.
• Active notary commission in North Carolina or South Carolina.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to work independently in the field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate easements, rights-of-way, and property acquisitions with landowners.
• Research property ownership, titles, and parcel information.
• Present offers and explain project impacts clearly and professionally.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers.
• Document communications and transactions in digital records.
• Follow client guidelines and project requirements.
